The dance world has been waiting for project like this for years. We are happy and excited to announce that a production company from Denmark - Danish Documentary Productions - is working on the documentary on Latin Dance couples called "Ballroom Dancer". As the info sent to us says: “The film is following several couples in the professional league (among those, Michael and Joanna) to try to portrait how life in this world unfolds. Not only at the competitions or during practice but also privately. We want the audience to get a notion of the joy, but also the sacrifices this brings. The film is set for completion in December 2010”. That sounds like a great project! We will be definitely supporting their work and as soon as we have some more news on it we will share it with you. The footage included in in the preview was shot at legendary Semley Studio in London, in Amsterdam and behind the scene of the UK Championship in Bournemouth. They all give unique opportunity to get a glimpse of the sphere that most fans have never seen before.
